Platform Requirements
Amazon requires pure white (RGB 255,255,255) for the main listing image. The product must fill at least 85% of the frame. eBay requires a white or light neutral background. Etsy recommends white but does not enforce it. Shopify has no background color requirement but white is best practice.
Getting the Best Results
Photograph products on any clean surface with even lighting. A plain table, a sheet of paper, or a cutting board all work. The AI handles removal regardless of surface color or texture. What matters most is lighting: even, diffused light from multiple angles minimizes shadows and gives the model the clearest edge between product and background.
From Transparent to White
This tool outputs a transparent PNG. For Amazon’s pure white requirement, place the transparent cutout on a white canvas in any image editor, or use the Image Converter to convert the PNG to JPEG, which fills transparent areas with white automatically.
