Convert Any Image to SVG
Trace raster images (PNG, JPG, WebP) into scalable SVG vectors. The Potrace algorithm analyzes your image and generates clean vector paths. Works best for logos, icons, signatures, and line art. All processing happens in your browser.
How to Use
- Drop an image file onto the converter or click to browse
- Select SVG as the output format from the dropdown
- Adjust trace settings in the panel that appears
- Click Convert to SVG
- Download the traced vector file
When to Use Vector Tracing
Raster images (PNG, JPG) are made of pixels and lose quality when scaled. SVG vectors are mathematical paths that scale to any size without quality loss. Vectorize when you need:
- Logos that work at any size (favicon to billboard)
- Icons for web, mobile, and print
- CNC or laser cutting paths
- Editable vector artwork from hand-drawn sketches
Common Use Cases
Brand identity assets
Convert logo sketches or low-resolution logos to SVG vectors. The vector output works across all media, from business cards to signage.
Web icons and illustrations
Trace hand-drawn illustrations or scanned artwork to SVG. The vector format loads fast and looks crisp on any screen resolution.
CAD and manufacturing prep
SVG paths can be imported into CAD software, CNC controllers, and laser cutters. Trace your design first, then export the paths for production.
